Lynne Strauss

Head of the BEE Academy

Lynne is an accomplished BEE Consultant with over 6 years in the BEE Audit environment and 5 years as a Senior Analyst and B-BBEE Technical Consultant. Lynne now holds the position of BEE Training Manager as well as BEESA’s own internal Learning and Development Manager.

Skills Development has been identified as a Priority Element in the Amended Codes of Good Practice and therefore a company needs to achieve 40% of the Skills Development points in order to avoid a drop in B-BBEE Level. With the Skills Development Expenditure Target being doubled, businesses need to take a strategic approach to maximise on the B-BBEE points and also have a Return-of-Investment in mind.

Section 12 H (a) of the Income Tax Act governs the South African Revenue Service to provide additional incentives for registered Learnerships.

BEESA in association with Training Force will provide you an understanding of the Amended Tax Allowances that can aid a company to afford to run a Learnership.
