As many of you will be aware, the new B-BBEE Codes place far more emphasis on the Ownership Element than the old B-BBEE Codes do.

Without any Black shareholding the most a company can achieve under the new B-BBEE Codes is a level 5 and that is if you claim virtually every other point available.

For majority of companies this is impractical as it requires significant spend and a huge amount of effort. As a result more companies are turning to the ownership element for a more effective way to score BEE points.

If you are in this position and never really considered the Ownership Element before then this Strategic Workshop is for you.

THIS SESSION INCLUDE:

• Understanding the new Ownership scorecard – how the points are calculated.

• Deciding on the best shareholding structure – a look at some popular options.

• Understanding Net Value – getting the funding model right so you don’t get discounted a level.

• Avoiding accusations of fronting.

• Documentation requirements – what documents do I need?
